This Mr. Hobby line of paints are made especially for weathering techniques on your favorite models. These weathering colors go great with the Bandai Star Wars model kits! (Example of use here) Use it to enhance colors and create effects for the intended environment such a rust, dirt, and sand. Weathering colors #WC09-WC12 are dedicated filtering colors that have been added to the lineup of Mr. Weathering Color. When this is applied broadly using a flat brush, etc. on a surface painted with basic color and then wiped off lightly with cotton buds, etc., the color tone on the painted surface can be matched and shading or shadowing can be added to enhance a 3D appearance.
